Hardee's/Carl's Jr Go Low Carb:
Low Carb Thickburger The new Low Carb Thickburger is made from a 1/3-pound Angus beef hamburger patty and wrapped in iceberg lettuce leaves. The amount of ketchup was reduced compared to other Thickburger menu items, but the product has a full dose of mustard, mayo, cheese, tomato, dill pickles and red onion.

The resulting five grams of carbohydrates, or three net carbohydrates (carbohydrates less fiber and sugar alcohols), make the product an appropriate option for even the most stringent carb counters.

The Hardee's Low Carb Thickburger is served in a paper "half wrap" and comes in its own cardboard carton, both of which make eating a lettuce-wrapped, bunless burger a much easier task than would be the case with typical fast-food packaging.

DaVinci Gourmet Sugar Free Holiday Flavors Syrups!

DaVinci Gourmet Egg Nog Syrup

When guests happened to glance at my ever-burgeoning collection of DaVinci Gourmet Sugar Free Syrups (and commented that the shelf was getting a bit too heavy), I realized what a big fan of these syrups and their many uses I really am! And our latest recipe session included the new Egg Nog Flavored Syrup.

We've run through 3 bottles trying out some creative uses of this sweet, holiday-rich flavor. First up, the obvious... making eggnog. To make a scrumptious, and super easy eggnog for holiday guests (or for yourself!), mix 1 quart of half n half, 1/4 cup Splenda (or to taste), 1/4 cup egg beaters, 2/3 cup DaVinci Sugar Free Egg Nog Syrup, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a spritz of nutmeg. Shake well and refrigerate.

Next, we made a Holiday Eggnog Cheesecake to die for. Yum. Want to try Eggnog Ice Cream? We made our favorite Keto Vanilla ice cream mix with DaVinci Sugar Free Egg Nog Syrup instead of water, and add nutmeg (and a few quick shakes of ground cloves and/or allspice!) You'll want to keep this eggnog syrup on hand for all sorts of things.

DaVinci Gourmet Gingerbread Syrup We also want to remind you all of their amazing
Gingerbread Syrup! We first recommended it last year, but it's not something you want to miss this holiday season. Add it to your favorite low carb pumpkin pie recipe for a snappy twist. Or make a Gingerbread Angel Pie (this was fun!)

We took our recipe for Lemony Angel Pie and instead of using 1 pint heavy whipping cream, we used 1/2 cream and 1/2 DaVinci Gingerbread Syrup. Leave out the lemon, and add holiday spices. Light as a cloud with a gingery snap. And speaking of snaps, try making the Ginger Snaps and use Gingerbread Syrup instead of water. You'll get an even richer cookie.
